Alleged N6.2bn Fraud: EFCC Closes Case against Ex-Plateau Gov Jang
 
Zambar N6.2bn: EFCC has completed presenting witnesses in the case against former governor of Plateau State, Jang.
 
The EFCC Commission on Tuesday 31 May, 2022, has concluded presenting witnesses in the case against the former Governor of Plateau State, Jonah David Jang and a former financial officer at the office of the Secretary of State, Yusuf Pam before Judge C. L. L. Dabup of Plateau State High Court, Jos.
 
EFCC has concluded presenting witnesses after calling 14 witnesses with presenting evidence where it accused the former governor and Pam of coalition, treason and looting of state property worth six billion naira A with three hundred million.
 
At the last court session, EFCC presented fourteenth testifier, an ICPC officer, named Taiwo Oloronyomi who testified against them.
Except the lawyer of the second accused rejected some of the documents presented before the court.
 
From now on, Judge Dapub postponed the hearing to 1st of June this year to enable each department to submit their statement after the hearing.
